Melaka wins: BN known for its business and rakyat-friendly programmes

KUALA LUMPUR Nov 24 - A government which cares will win the hearts of the rakyat and this is exemplified by Barisan Nasional (BN).

And to demonstrate that it truly cares for the rakyat, BN will roll out various social and economic programmes.

Keluarga Malaysia binds us all

The government is always on its toes to ensure that the rakyat has a good life living in peace and harmony.

Thus it is of no surprise that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob launched the all encompassing Keluarga Malaysia programme.

Keluarga Malaysia is aimed at strengthening family ties especislly now amid COVID-19.

As an example, family bond can be cemented by being responsible and spending more time together which builds a better Malaysia.

And to facilitate that, the government has provided cheaper LRT and MRT tickets for the family to spend time together at malls and other recreational areas.

These sort of programmes has opened the eyes of the rakyat on how much the BN government cares for them which is partly the reason why the rakyat supported BN at the recent Melaka polls.

Twelfth Malaysia Plan for the rakyat's future wellbeing

Among the blueprints laid out by BN for future growth include the 12th Malaysia Plan.

This plan takes a look at how to improve the lives of the rakyat for a five year period between 2025 -2030.

Among them are education, medical facilities, the economy, security and socio-economy.

All this augurs well for BN as the rakyat knows that the government cares about them and is preparing their future for a better live.

BN is also know for its assistance programmes such as the Bayaran Prihatin Nasional.

On top of that, the government would always dish out rakyat friendly one-off cash handouts which will assist the rakyat.

These assistances would mean a lot for the rakyat who are in dire straits and the help will alleviate their financial burden.

Budget 2022 - the biggest ever

To demonstrate its committment to the rakyat, the government allocated RM322.1 billion under Budget 2022 which is the biggest ever.

Under the budget, the government had allocated money for so many programmes for the rakyat.

The education and heath sectors received the biggest allocation as usual.

The other programmes which received budgets includes the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia worth RM8.2 billion and will benefit 9.6 million recipients and is a newly introduced programme.

The government also gave a special RM2,500 tax relief for the purchase of handphones, computers and tablets.

Under the various JaminKerja initiatives 600,000 job opportunities will be available with RM4.8 billion allocation.

The budget also earmarked RM11.4 billion allocation for Bumiputera empowerment.

A government which cares will roll out various programmes to uplift the rakyat's standard of living and this is exactly what BN is doing - working towards the betterment of the rakyat. - DagangNews.com
