KUALA LUMPUR 11 May - Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition, a locally assembled special variant that further expands its performance SUV lineup with a stronger design identity and enhanced driving character.
Priced at RM518,888 (on-the-road, without insurance, inclusive of 10% Sales Tax) for Peninsular Malaysia, the model also comes with an Agility+ ownership plan starting from RM6,688 per month, aimed at offering flexible financing options alongside guaranteed future value and mobility benefits.
The Nightfall Edition is the second special edition under the Nightfall series, following the GLA variant, and introduces a more expressive design theme through the AMG Night Package Exterior II.
Key styling upgrades include Dark Chrome accents across the radiator grille slats, model badging, rear star emblem and additional exterior detailing, giving the coupé a more aggressive visual presence.
A signature highlight is the AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome with “AMG” lettering and black accents, reinforcing its performance branding. The model also features AMG Real Performance Sound, allowing drivers to switch between BALANCED and POWERFUL sound profiles for a more immersive cabin experience.
AMG turbocharged
Under the bonnet, the coupe is powered by a 2.0-litre AMG turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 310 kW (421 hp) and 500 Nm of torque, supported by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system with an additional 10 kW boost. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Performance enhancements include rear-axle steering of up to 2.5 degrees for improved agility and stability, 21-inch AMG Y-spoke alloy wheels, and DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps that adapt dynamically to road conditions.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with AMG sports seats in ARTICO upholstery, carbon-fibre trim elements, an AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather, and the MBUX infotainment system with AMG-specific displays. Audio is delivered via the Burmester® 3D surround sound system.
