KUALA LUMPUR 11 August - ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has received Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) certification to perform line and heavy maintenance on Dassault Aviation business jets.

The certification covers the Falcon 900EX up to and including the 12-month or 800 flight cycle (FC) inspection; Falcon 2000EX C-checks, which are equivalent to 72-month or 3,750FC; and Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X business jet C-checks, which are equivalent to 96-month or 4000FC.

This new certification means ExecuJet’s maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at Subang Airport, Malaysia is now recognized by the Bermuda civil aviation regulator as an approved foreign repair station to carry out the above-mentioned maintenance work.

Regional VP Asia at ExecuJet, Ivan Lim said, the Bermuda approvals were in response to the significant number of Bermuda-registered business jets flying in the Asian region.

"Our Subang Airport facility has already been supporting Bermuda registered business jets since receiving our initial approval in 2014. Adding the Dassault Falcon aircraft types onto our approval list was a natural progression for us.”

“Dassault Aviation customers in Asia and those flying to Asia from elsewhere, can expect their business jet to be well-supported in Asia by a company with direct access to Dassault’s expertise and training facilities,” he adds.

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has a long track-record working with the US FAA and is also certified by the FAA to perform maintenance on US-registered Dassault, Bombardier and Gulfstream business jets.

The Malaysia MRO company’s deep knowledge is coupled with flexibility: ExecuJet offers 24-hour aircraft-on-ground (AOG) services as well as mobile repair party support, which means a rapid response team can meet and support AOG aircraft at other airports apart from Subang Airport.

Lim said, having progressively added certifications like the Bermuda approval, ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has truly gone beyond a full-service MRO company to the first port-of-call organization for business jet operators flying into the region.

"We look forward to strategically adding other approvals in order to serve the market,” he said.
