KUALA LUMPUR 19 April - Shinjiru Technology Sdn. Bhd. (Shinjiru) shares the holy month of Ramadan with a group of children cared for by a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Perlindungan Al Haq Malaysia (Rumah Al Haq) at Kampung Dato Keramat on Friday.

The children aged between 9 months to 15 years old received some contributions from the staff and management of Shinjiru, including desktop computers and accessories to help the children with their online lessons.

Shinjuru Communication Strategist, Diyana Rose Kamalludeen said, Shinjiru’s Service Delivery team also conducted an introductory computer class after installing the computers and preparing a simple information technology (IT) corner for the children.

The computer class, conducted by Muhammad Zulfadli Mohd Dan and Afiqah Alias, gave an opportunity for the children to raise questions and practice utilising the computers.

Rumah Al Haq Founder, Nur Fardilah Mohd Sabki said: “We are so grateful to Shinjiru for the generous donations and for spending time with the kids today.

“The computers will be a huge help for the children’s online studies, primarily because we are going to start our own school to educate the children with mental health issues,” said her in a statement today.

She also mentioned that the general public could help them with the rent, basic necessities and educational fees.

Rumah Al Haq was established in 2017 by Nur Fardilah to provide protection, advocacy and education for abandoned and abused orphans.

To sustain their living costs, she came up with an idea to start a small catering and cookies business following her culinary background.

Understanding their circumstances, Shinjiru organised a charity fund collection among their staff to donate diapers, baby milk formula, cooking condiments for their daily usage and raw items needed for their cookies business to lift some of their burdens.

“Shinjiru is always looking for opportunities to help more struggling NGOs, especially during the festive seasons where the underprivileged require the most attention and assistance.
