KUALA LUMPUR 2 July - Kudos to Honda Malaysia! The New Civic model that was officially launched in February remains No.1 in the C-Segment with a captured market share of 70%.
The White Orchid Pearl Colour of the model appears to be the favourite among the customers, representing 42% of the New Civic overall sales.
To date, the New Civic has sold more than 2,900 units nationwide and is currently the third best-selling model in Honda Malaysia’s overall sales.
Honda Malaysia in a statement claimed that the Central region contributed 44% to the total sales followed by 17% from the Southern region and 15% from the Nothern region.
The company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Toichi Ishiyama said, amid the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, most businesses are resuming operations in accordance with guidelines and standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the government.
“All industries including the automotive industry are eager to recover from the pandemic and help the nation towards the economic recovery.
“Honda Malaysia remains committed to support the government initiatives for the benefits of all Malaysians,” said Ishiyama.
