JAKARTA 21 July – Southeast Asia-based supply chain intelligence and sustainability solutions company Inovasi Digital has appointed former Unilever executive Rauf Prasodjo as its Director of Sustainability Solutions, strengthening its leadership as demand grows for traceable and deforestation-free commodity supply chains.
Prasodjo joins the company after spending a decade at Unilever, where he led the multinational’s global sustainable palm oil strategy and served on the Board of Governors of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
During his tenure, he helped expand mill-to-plantation traceability to more than 97%, achieved over 95% verified deforestation-free coverage, and advanced conservation programmes protecting more than 600,000 hectares of critical landscapes.
His appointment comes as global agricultural commodity supply chains face increasing scrutiny, with evolving international regulations such as the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and growing market expectations making traceability and deforestation-free sourcing critical for market access.
Driving sustainability innovation
As Director of Sustainability Solutions, Prasodjo will lead product strategy, sustainability innovation and strategic growth across Inovasi Digital's three core business pillars: supply chain risk intelligence, traceability and compliance solutions, including its joint due diligence platform Agriplot, as well as landscape-level conservation initiatives.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Adriani Zakaria said Prasodjo's experience would strengthen the company's strategic direction and accelerate the development of practical sustainability solutions.
"Rauf brings a rare combination of corporate experience, industry credibility and a deep understanding of the practical challenges involved in transforming complex commodity supply chains.
"His leadership will help us strengthen our organisational strategy, accelerate product innovation, deepen our partnerships, and continue developing solutions that respond to the real needs of companies, suppliers and producing regions," she said.
Prasodjo said sustainability decisions depend on the quality of intelligence and partnerships supporting them.
"Throughout my career, I have seen that sustainability decisions are only as strong as the intelligence and relationships supporting them.
"What attracted me to Inovasi Digital was the opportunity to help shape the next generation of these solutions. I look forward to working with the team to expand our impact across global commodities and markets," he said.
Expanding regional collaboration
As part of his new role, Prasodjo will relocate from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, where he will work closely with Inovasi Digital's teams in Malaysia and Indonesia.
The company said it aims to bridge on-the-ground expertise from commodity-producing regions with the evolving requirements of global buyers and regulators, enabling businesses to move beyond sustainability commitments towards implementation, supplier transformation and responsible market access. - DagangNews.com
